It intends to hire for roles like business consulting, data scientists and technology specialists. “India is a very crucial region for ZS, as over 65% of our global team comes from the country’s best colleges and professional backgrounds. We will continue our efforts on campus as well as lateral hiring for Bengaluru, Delhi and Pune,” Sanjay Joshi, Regional Managing Principal and Asia Head said.
Out of the over 3,000 new additions to the company, 30% will cater to business consulting, 45% to business technology and 25% will work in the business operations verticals of the firm.
In 2020, the company hired 2,000 employees. “Given the growth of the firm’s different verticals, ZS ensured that all offers that were rolled out before the national lockdown in early 2020, were honoured and people were onboarded seamlessly from across the country,” Joshi said.
ZS has already started off their processes with some of the top management and IT colleges in India. Even during the global pandemic, the company continued hiring and welcoming new team members during the work from home time period.
In addition, ZS has introduced new policies that cater to the needs of its employees, during the remote working situation. Some of the initiatives include a one-time work from home allowance for employees to create a comfortable workspace at their homes and giving out an extra year-end success bonus to celebrate the firm’s success. The company has also introduced a host of mental and physical wellbeing programs and meeting-free working time to ensure employees’ work life balance.
