01/7Watch out for these common behavioural signs of a dangerous creepy person
Not everyone who gives you creepy vibes is actually dangerous. But if you ever recognize any of these signs in somebody, know that the person could be untrustworthy and you should take time to consider who the person really is – even if you have your best interest at heart for this person.
02/7Ignoring physical boundaries
This one is a big red flag. Standing too close to you, refusing to take no for an answer, continuing to tickle you even after you have asked to stop are signs you must pick on. Some people just don’t know how to take a hint, but dangerous people might do these things as a way to test you or to see how further can they cross their limits with you.
03/7Not breaking eye contact
Sociopaths and narcissists have a habit of staring intensely at other people. They will look at their target with a focused and intense gaze. This is also one of their ways to test boundaries. They might do or say something uncomfortable right before or after their gaze to see how you respond.
04/7Dominating the conversation
Some people simply like to talk, but manipulators will try to dominate any and every conversation. They also invade auditory space and other paralanguage factors that indicate they are in control. They’ll often seem quite charming and a great storyteller, but they’re still dangerous for you.
Narcissists usually tend to get very upset about things when they don’t go their way. They will get extremely moody while interacting with others. They can shift all their non-verbal behaviours in the blink of an eye and transform themselves. It can get so manipulative that you might not even realize what’s happening until the person has already sucked you in.
06/7Opening up too soon
If you’ve only just met a person and they already start revealing themselves, there are chances that they can’t be trusted or they aren’t stable. This shows a lack of boundaries that can easily get out of control.
07/7Moving really fast
If you’re in a relationship with someone new and if it’s moving at a speed, it might feel like a good sign. But people who are likely to harm you might sweep in quickly and forcefully just to try and foster a sense of false trust. If it seems too fast, chances are that you are in danger and you should step back.
